Our services includes co-management of cataract surgery, treatment of eye diseases such as allergies, pink eye, diabetes eye examinations, wellvision exams, dry eye and glaucoma.
As a affiliate of TLC Laser Eye Centers, Westchester Chicagoland we provide pre-operative and post-operative care of laser vision correction in conjunction with TLC Westchester Chicagoland world-renowned surgeon, Dr. Louis Probst. Additional services include computer-assisted eye exams, infant and pediatric eye exams, contact lens fittings of all types. |

We now use Topcon Maestro 2 for early glaucoma, macular degeneration, other retinal diseases detection, Topcon CA800 Corneal Analyzer for contact lens fitting and corneal evaluation including dry eyes, Clarus 500 digital ultra wide photography and automated peripheral vision analysis using Digital Frequency Doubling Technology(FDT)to detect or measure progression of any ocular disease. Our Octopus 900 Autoperimeter is one the most sophisticated peripheral vision machines on the market to help detect brain tumors, detached retinas, glaucoma, strokes, and other neurological problems.
Another new piece of equipment is the Digital Lensmeter which will analyze your prescription using WAVEFRONT technology and will show a color contour map of the quality of the type of spectacle lenses as well as printing out its exact prescription.
We also have added Digital Pachymetry which measures the thickness of the cornea letting us determine treatment for glaucoma cases, and evaluate the cornea for LASIK surgery. Another instrument, the Digital CANON AIR PUFF tonometer has a softer puff and automatically tracks and takes the reading instantly. We have several of these. We added ICare Bounce technology for those who want to avoid the puff tonometry. It has been used for pets for years.
Our two Nidex Autorefractors are newest technology in aiding to measure your distance refraction and corneal curvature readings for contact lenses and glasses.
One of our latest instruments is the Clarus 500 Ultrawide Fundus photography machine which helps screen detect and analyze glaucoma, diabetes, retinal detachments, and many retinal diseases. The other newest machine is the Topcon Maestro 2 OCT/PHOTO which takes regular photos of the retina as well as scans layers of the inner retina to help observe glaucoma changes or borderline cases, diabetes, high blood pressure, macular degeneration and detached retina suspects or established cases.
We have an extensive optical showroom with over 1000 frames to compliment your lifestyle.
For special needs patients, infants and wheel chair patients, we now have the Retinomax 3 autorefractor/keratometer that has 3 functions and can take readings in .07 seconds for our most challenging cases.
