Quentin G. Park, O.D.

Dr. Quentin Park was born in Aurora and lived in Montgomery and Batavia. He attended high school at the Marmion Military Academy, then went on to graduate at the Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Park earned his Doctorate in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry.

Dr. Park is president of the Lions Club of North Aurora and is also involved with the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, Fox Valley Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. He is also on the LASIK advisory board for TLC Westchester Chicagoland Laser Eye Centers and is a member of the West Suburban Referrals Group. He is also a volunteer doctor at Provena Mercy Medical Center Diabetes Wellness Center.

Lena G. Park, O.D.

Dr. Lena Park was born in Aurora and lived in Montgomery and Batavia. She graduated from Rosary High School. She then went to the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and has a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Lena is a graduate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She also took Spanish in high school and college and will use her skills in the growing Hispanic population in our area.She is also a volunteer doctor at the Provena Mercy Medical Center Diabetes Wellness Center. She is member of the TLC Westchester Chicagoland Laser Eye Centers advisory board and the West Suburban Referrals Group. Her professional memberships include the Fox Valley Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry. She is also a member of the Batavia Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Batavia Women in Business. Her focus is pediatric vision care. Same day appointments are available. Bill M. Park, O.D.

Dr. Bill Park was born and raised in Aurora. Dr. Park is a Gold Ivy Leaf honors graduate from Aurora University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He received his Doctorate of Optometry and Bachelor of Science in Visual Science from the Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Park was a Beta Sigma Kappa honors student there as well. He has been in practice since 1977. Dr. Park has been President of the Exchange Club of Aurora and Past President of the North Aurora Lions Club. He is also serving as the Chairman of SightFirst II. He has served as Chairman of the Provena Mercy Medical Center Foundation. He is an advisory board member and a volunteer doctor to the Provena Diabetes Wellness Center. He is also a member and past President of the Fox Valley Optometric Society, past executive council member of the Illinois Optometric Association and a member of the American Optometric Association. He is also on the TLC Westchester Chicagoland Laser Eye Centers advisory board of directors. Dr. Bill is a member of the Batavia Chamber of Commerce. His practice style is personalized, progressive, comprehensive, and uses a friendly approach, while utilizing the highest technology equipment and keeping up-to-date by attending frequent continuing education courses.

Dr.Park's office is nestled along the beautiful Fox River in North Aurora on Route 31 at the intersection of Route 56. His office was once a small home and then became an insurance agency. In 1982, Dr. Park purchased the property, remodeled the building, added an addition in 1988 and had it professionally decorated. In 2004, the building facade changed and a 912 square foot addition was constructed. The office still has that homelike feeling with state-of-the-art instruments in each room. Dr. Park wants patients to feel comfortable with their examination and take home with them the feeling that they have had the most thorough eye exam and refer family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. His office is well equipped with premium quality frames and lenses.

With his son, Dr. Quentin Park and his daughter, Dr. Lena Park, both graduates of Illinois College of Optometry, patients will be assured of the continuity of care in the Park tradition of personalized family eye care.

Lou Probst, MD

Dr. Louis Probst is the Medical Director for TLC Westchester Chicagoland Laser Eye Centers in Chicagoland, Madison, Wisconsin and Greenville, South Carolina. He was selected among ophthalmologists across North America for a surgical corneal fellowship in corneal transplantation and refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Probst is one of the most experienced surgeons in the world, having performed almost 90,000 LASIK procedures! A true leader in his field, he has also helped develop 10 instruments to enhance procedure results and continues to lecture and train surgeons throughout the world. He has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 50 book chapters and 5 textbooks on refractive surgery. Kevin Kovach, MD

Kevin J. Kovach, M.D. received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with honors from the University of Illinois. He was accepted at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine where completed his graduate work. He graduated Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude and continued his transitional residency work at MacNeal Hospital, later completing his residency at Loyola UMC. Dr. Kovach is a certified eye surgeon of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Association of Opthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgeons. He is currently on staff at Elmhurst Hospital and Oak Park Hospital.

Dr. Kovach's refractive surgeries include: LASIK, PRK, Intacts, ICL's and RK. Dr. Kovach performs any necessary argon laser treatments for patients with glaucoma, diabetes, or macular degeneration. For cataract patients, he performs removal with IOL at Elmhurst Center for Surgery and secondary cataract yag procedures are done on site. Dr. Kovach has extensive experience with using the Crystalens bifocal intraocular implants, which allows distance, intermediate and near vision.He also does intraocular implants on patients with extremely high prescriptions outside the range of LASIK surgery. Patients are given the options of all types of intraocular implants before proceeding with surgery. He performs all corneal transplants at the Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center. Howard Reinglass, M.D.

For more than 30 years Dr. Howard Reinglass has provided his patients with a full spectrum of eye care services that include: Cataracts, Glaucoma, Pterygium and Dry Eye. He has successfully performed more than 10,000 Cataract and 10,000 Pterygium surgical procedures during his career. Dr. Reinglass pioneered the use of the RK (Radial Keratectomy) to eliminate near sightedness. When the Excimer Laser received FDA approval in the United States, Dr. Reinglass was one of the first in the country to purchase an Excimer Laser and begin use of the laser for PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) treatment. Dr. Reinglass continually performs the advanced Lasik (Flap and Zap) procedure, which allows most people to see the next day without glasses or contacts.

Dr. Reinglass is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and consultant to the world famous Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He is published in the Archives of Ophthalmology and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. Roberta Diveley, Optometric Assistant

Roberta is our optometric assistant and works the front desk by taking appointments, handling recalls and other clerical duties. Her hobbies includes spending time with her family and doing outdoor activities.



Linda Lombardi, Optometric Assistant

Linda assists the front desk in taking appointments, recalling patients, confirming appointments, processing insurance claims, and assisting all patients in making their visit a pleasant experience. Linda likes to read and play with her kids.



Carin Young, Optometric Assistant

Carin is back in our office after moving away for 3 years. She will cheerfully greet you when you arrive in our office.



Sonia Fonseca,Optometric Assistant

Sonia is our newest staff member and has been a patient since childhood. She is bilingual and will be a welcome addition to our team to work with the growing Hispanic patient population in our office. Her interests include walking and outdoor activities. She is also studying signing for the deaf and hearing impaired patients who come to our office.
